A sense of relief. But the overwhelming feeling today is one of gratitude. The organizers and volunteers behind Hamsadhwani are humbled, inspired and revved up by your support. This kind of participation by the larger community towards supporting an ancient art form will ensure that it lives on and thrives, and perhaps reaches heights that no one ever imagined! This is the last fundraising campaign email for the year. A famous scientist once said that had he not been a scientist, he would have been a musician. “Life without playing music is inconceivable for me,” he declared. “I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music… I get most joy in life out of music.” Dear Mr. Einstein, our rasikas, our children, and the young musicians who perform at Hamsadhwani, would agree.

- We are proud to announce that Hamsadhwani is launching a chapter in Omaha, Nebraska. The chapter will be supported 100% by local fundraising, patrons and volunteers. Why, pray do we need a chapter in Warren Buffett-country, you may ask. The answer lies in Hamsadhwani's mission to create opportunities and offer a platform for young musicians to perform and showcase their talent. Given the kind of interest and support in Omaha, the question we asked ourselves is 'why not'. Why not create another opportunity for young artistes and help foster a community of rasikas, wherever they are?
- There has been some feedback regarding the Sunday afternoon scheduling of concerts. The main reasons driving the schedule are hall and artiste availability. Having said that, please note that the remaining concerts for the year (after this weekend's, of course) will be on Saturdays. We hope it turns out to be a more convenient for you.
- By popular demand, the 2015 Youth Festival is going to be a 2-day (June 20 & 21) all-day musical extravaganza, from 9 am to 9 pm on each day. Going by how the musicians and audience enjoyed last year's Youth Festival, you don't want to miss this grand event!
- Lastly, a reminder about this weekend's double-header concert by a powerhouse of talent. Join us with your family (Sunday at 3 pm) and be prepared to be enthralled, spellbound, and rejuvenated.
