The Thanksgiving weekend is coming to a close and there never is a more appropriate time to express gratitude. It is a fact that behind every great musician is an unassuming guru who has put in years and years of effort, sweat, and toil to mould raw talent into a wholesome performer. The guru rarely gets more than a passing mention, and she seldom expects any reward other the applause and appreciation for an outstanding performance from a discerning audience. Hamsadhwani is proud to honor a few such Carnatic music teachers in Southern California by offering them a platform to showcase the talent and skills of their students.

Mark your calendars for the grand finale of this year's concert series - Hamsadhwani's Thematic Concert 2015, on December 5, 2015. Students of four different gurus will be performing in an all-day celebration of emerging local musical talent. Not only is a variety of good music guaranteed, but it will also be accompanied by good food (breakfast and lunch will be served).
