Anoop Krishnan born in a traditional family in Wandoor, Kerala, Anoop Krishnan was initiated into music at a very young age by his mother Ganabhushanam Geetha Unnikrishnan. He then learned from Manjeri Krishnakumar for six years. Anoop then moved to Cochin for advanced training in music under Mavelikkara Subramanyam and Mavelikkara Ponnammal. The turning point in his life was when he was accepted as shishya of Dr. Shreekantham Nagendra Shastry, whose bani he has been following ever since. Along with the training in Carnatic music, Anoop is also being trained in the Agra Gharana of Hindustani music by Vidushi Aditi Upadhyay. Anoop has completed M.A. in Music from Kerala University, Trivandrum and is a graded artist in AIR, Calicut. Academically, Anoop has completed his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and is currently working as a lecturer and postdoctoral scholar at University of California Los Angeles.

Arun Ramamurthi is a disciple of Violin Maestro Delhi P. Sunder Rajan. He developed his bowing and fingering techniques early on beginning with Western classical lessons at the age of 4. He was initiated to Carnatic music on the violin by Shri Krishna Kutty at the age of 10 and has been training under the able guidance of his guru Delhi Shri P. Sunderrajan since 2000. He has also learned vocal music from Smt. Padma Kutty. Arun has performed both as a soloist and an accompanist at numerous venues in the U.S. and India. He has become a regular performer at the December Music Festival in Chennai, having performed at several of the leading venues. He graduated from UC Berkeley with degrees in Music and Economics and currently works in Newport Beach, California.

Naveen Basavanhally began his mridangam training at the age of ten under the tutelage of Sri Ramachandran Suresh of New Jersey.  Since 2008, Naveen has received advanced training from mridangam maestro Kalaimamani Sri Guruvayur Dorai of Chennai.  Naveen has had the privilege of performing at prestigious venues such as Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana and several leading sabhas during the Chennai December music season.  He has accompanied various leading musicians, including Sri VK Raman, Smt. Alamelu Mani, Sri AS Murali, and Sri Sankaran Namboodhiri, to name a few.  Naveen is currently pursuing a PhD in economics at the University of California, San Diego.
